Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Detection
Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is the most common complication of diabetes. The number of diabetes cases has been increasing dramatically in China every year. Of the 100 million diabetes patients in China, 25%-38% suffer from DR. World Health Organization (WHO) predicted that 366 million people will suffer from DR by 2030.
DR will lead to irreversible blindness. DR patients show no early stage symptoms. By the time they feel discomfort in the eyes, they are already at a severe stage. Early diagnosis and treatment of DR patient can prevent vision loss and blindness.
Airdoc leverages the deep-learning technology based on enormous fundus image data labeled by professionals to design a specific deep-learning network for DR recognition and DR lesion area detection.
